Jack and the Beanstalk at Harrogate Theatre
Family fun at the panto is a must during the festive season. Children young and old, and those who are young at heart, can enjoy a performance filled with laughs, songs and colourful characters.
The panto at Harrogate Theatre is a firm favourite in many people’s calendars and will have you rolling in the aisles. Follow the adventures of Jack, his mother, Dame Trott and some magic beans!
The panto runs until 18 January, so this is a great post-Christmas treat for all the family, too.
Stockeld Theatre: How Jack Frost Stole Christmas!

An evening of classical pieces that are perfect for the festive season await you at the Viennese Christmas Spectacular by Candlelight held in the candlelit surroundings of Ripon Cathedral. Listen to a programme of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite and the Waltz from Sleeping Beauty, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No.5 and Strauss II’s Polish March from the Trisch-Trasch Polka and the Blue Danube Waltz.

This festive season, the world-famous Brighouse & Rastrick Brass Band bring their Christmas concert to Skipton Town Hall. Listen to traditional Christmas music plus well-known carols. Swing Into Christmas with The Down for the Count Swing Orchestra at The Royal Hall in Harrogate this December. The Down for the Count Orchestra brings some festive swing as the thirty-piece big band convey the sounds of Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra with a jammed-packed show.
