Just around the corner from Whitby, you will find the gorgeous little village of Sandsend. In fact, it's so close you'll be able to spot Whitby Pier and Whitby Abbey from the beach! Sandsend is another village along the Cleveland Way, a great trail to walk if you fancy a trip to Whitby or nearby pretty village of Runswick Bay. Like many other of the Yorkshire Coast beaches, Sandsend is also a great spot for rock pooling, so grab your net and bucket and see what you can find!
