From dazzling firework displays and glowing bonfires to live entertainment, delicious food and family-friendly activities, each event has something different to enjoy. Wrap up warm and get ready for unmissable Bonfire Night celebrations across North Yorkshire at one of these organised events.
Harrogate Stray Charity Bonfire & Fireworks
Head on over to The Stray in Harrogate for the annual Your Harrogate Stray Bonfire (Saturday 7 November) for an evening of live music, a selection of food stalls and a mesmerising fireworks display. Following the display at 7pm, the UK Foo Fighters will be taking to the stage for an unmissable homecoming gig. The event is free to attend with entertainment starting at 5pm, with donations to charities encouraged.
Firework Extravaganza at Scarborough Cricket Club
Scarborough Cricket Club's Fireworks Extravaganza (Thursday 5 November) promises a spectacular fireworks display and an evening of fun for all the family. Enjoy great music and entertainment, delicious food stalls and a bar that's open all evening. Mark your calendars for an evening of fun, food and vibrant fireworks.
Filey Lions Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular
The Filey Lions Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular returns to West Avenue Car Park (Saturday 7 November). Don’t miss the lighting of the bonfire at 6pm before the dazzling fireworks show at 7pm. Admission is free to this event and there will be plenty of delicious food stalls, too.
Northallerton Annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display
The Northallerton Annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display (Thursday 5 November) is taking place in The Applegarth Car Park. This annual community event has taken place for the last 50 years, with a host of funfair rides, stalls and food and drinks vendors. The bonfire will be lit around 6.30pm and the firework display begins at 7pm, lighting up the sky above the town, and donations to local charities are welcomed.
Ripon City Bonfire and Firework Display
Taking place at Ripon Racecourse, the Ripon City Bonfire and Firework Display (Friday 6 November) is not one to miss! With gates opening at 5.30pm, you can enjoy refreshments before the bonfire is lit at 7pm followed by the fireworks display at 7.30pm.
Selby Bonfire Night
Enjoy not one but two firework displays at the Selby Bonfire and Firework Display (Saturday 31 October). Taking place on the Scott Road Community Field, the gates will open at 6pm with the first fireworks display taking place at 7pm, followed by another at 7.45pm. Keep warm with a hot chocolate and pick up some tasty treats from the food stalls. This is a free event to attend.
