Studford Luxury Lodges
Tucked away in a quiet corner of the North York Moors National Park, just four miles from the market town of Helmsley, these luxurious designer tree houses bring wilderness and indulgence hand in hand.
About Studford Luxury Lodges
Hidden from sight amongst the North York Moors National Park is a cluster of exclusive lodges with their own steamy, outdoor hot tubs. Perched up on wooden stilts in their own secluded woodland pocket, they each have their own private views across an enchanted, country setting. Their luxury interiors are a fusion of classic designs and contemporary styles, and emanate with the quality of a five-star find. Think sleek lines and modern art beside the latest tech gadgets, along with vintage prints, leather chairs and retro fabrics.
Each of the six treehouse lodges has been finished with an exceptional attention to detail and boasts three large double bedrooms and an open-plan living area. Create masterpieces in the kitchen or sit around the traditional dining table, curling up beside the revolving fire and watching films late into the evening. The kitchens are each packed with foodie treats and stylish features, including Nespresso coffee machines and American-style fridge-freezers. The living rooms are a favourite with all of the family and are complete with sink-in leather sofas and a roaring wood burner. A 60” LED Smart Screen TV is on hand for rainy days, along with a PS4 games console and Sonos sound system. Floor-to-ceiling doors lead out onto the sprawling woodland terrace where you can cook on the BBQ, dine al fresco and star-gaze from the hot tub.
Back inside, each lodge has three sophisticated double bedrooms with sumptuous beds, deluxe en-suites and views over the woodland. In the evenings you can relax in your own private in-lodge sauna, before donning your fluffy robe and snuggling up beneath the duvet.
Once you’re fully rested and ready to explore, you can while away your days roaming the magnificent Yorkshire moors. Try biking, riding or off-roading on the trails, or a leisurely afternoon sightseeing in the dales. Discover the historic Helmsley Castle or the medieval Byland Abbey or the well-known Yorkshire towns of Scarborough and Whitby. With a mix of sandy beaches, stunning architecture and atmospheric streets, the local towns and villages are not to be missed. If you don’t fancy cooking then there are a handful of characterful village pubs, where you can enjoy delicious home-cooked dishes and home-grown produce. With a chauffeur service to the nearby inns included with your stay, you can even enjoy a relaxed evening out with a glass of local ale.
