About Grosmont House Holiday Cottages
These two charming cottages are tucked away down quiet green cul-de-sac right in the heart of Grosmont. They will delight train enthusiasts as they are very close to Grosmont Station, which is home to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. There is a two bedroom and a one bedroom cottage which can be rented together for a larger group booking. There is also an option to have breakfast at Grosmont House each morning, just let us know the previous day.
‘Sir Nigel Gresley’ Cottage
This charming character two bedroom cottage is situated next to the steam train station in the popular village of Grosmont. The cottage is all on the ground floor, has a cosy sitting room with an open fire, all mod cons and lots of character. It can be used in conjunction with the one bedroom George Stephenson Cottage next door.
Ground floor entrance: Into the kitchen/diner. Kitchen/Dining Room: Fridge, freezer, gas hob, electric oven and grill, washing machine, microwave, folding table and chairs. Lounge: TV with Freeview and DVD player, a fireplace with stone chimneypiece and open fire. Hallway: Leading to the bedrooms and the bathroom. Bathroom: Bath, shower over bath, toilet, washbasin. Bedroom 1: Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV, connecting door to Bedroom 2. Bedroom 2: Accessed from hallway or through bedroom 1. Twin beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV.

George Stephenson Cottage is a lovely one bedroom character property, situated next to the steam railway station in the popular village of Grosmont near Whitby. George Stephenson Cottage is all on the ground floor and it can be used in conjunction with two bedroom Sir Nigel Gresley Cottage next door.
Ground floor entrance: Into hallway. Bathroom: Bath, shower over bath, toilet, washbasin. Kitchen: Fridge, freezer, gas hob, electric oven and grill, washing machine, microwave. Lounge/Dining Room: TV with Freeview and DVD player, a fireplace with stone and brick chimneypiece and open fire, table and chairs. Bedroom: Double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, TV. Sorry, no pets.
