Frightwater Valley Presents: Movie Mayhem - Lightwater Valley Theme Park

This Halloween, Frightwater Valley at Lightwater Valley is going to the movies with Movie Mayhem – a family Halloween event packed with spooky attractions, live entertainment, trick or treating and plenty of surprises.

Roll out the blood-red carpet and step into a world where movie-inspired characters have escaped from the big screen and taken over the Valley. From little boos and family-friendly Halloween fun to bigger scares for those feeling brave, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

Visitors can stroll down Icon Avenue and meet movie-inspired characters, pose for red-carpet selfies and keep an eye out for surprise appearances around the park.

Little monsters can brave the Mini Boo Maze or climb, crawl and slide their way through Ghostly Soft Play, while Lightwater Valley’s famous Trick or Treat Trail returns with 10 stops and a treat to collect at everyone.

There’s also live entertainment throughout the day, including the swashbuckling Dead Pirate Show at Skeleton Cove, mysterious Trick or Treat Doors and the End Credits Dance Party, where families can finish their day dancing alongside favourite characters.

For those looking for a bigger scare, the Live Scare Maze puts brave visitors right in the middle of their very own horror movie, with live scares waiting around every corner.

And on Saturday 31st October, join us as we end the 2026 season with a bang, where the sky will light up with a spectacular 10-minute firework finale, set to Halloween music!
