About Special Guests: Nadine Matheson & Steve Cavanagh - Old Swan Hotel

No one is above the law. And no one is below it. In the ever-twisting world of crime fiction however, people can be above, below and beyond the law, often all at once. Meet two former lawyers who use their legal training to brilliantly fiendish effect.

Former criminal defence lawyer Nadine Matheson shook up the established order with her debut The Jigsaw Man and continues to blaze a trail with deliciously dark novels. Her latest book, The Shadow Carver, sees DI Angelica Henley on the trail of a vigilante killer. Steve Cavanagh gave up a career as a civil rights lawyer to concentrate on his brilliant, and hugely successful, series about New York-based conman turned defence attorney Eddie Flynn. Eddie’s tenth outing, the thrilling One of Us Is Guilty, is classic Cavanagh. They will be interviewed presenter, journalist and author Louise Minchin.
