Morning:

Studfold Adventure Trail

Discover Two Stone Wishes village, find the fairy codes and sit in the giant storytelling chair.  See if you can find all the pretty fairy houses that magically appear between May and August and for even more fun, hop on the go-karts or ride-on tractors and have a go at den building.

When tums are hungry, head to the picnic area or the Nidderdale Way Café. Children will have the best time so come dressed in your prettiest fairy costume and don’t forget your wings.

Afternoon:

Stump Cross Caverns

Enjoy an afternoon of underground adventure where you can explore the beautiful and otherworldly show caves. See the spectacular stalactites and stalagmites and rock formations as you walk through each cave with names such as Wolverine Cave and the Chamber of Pillars.

See the caves in a different light after 3pm by booking a UV experience or book to pan for gems.  There are lots of free kid’s activities, too, including a fossil quiz.  Grab a slice of cake in the Time Café or head to the ice cream parlour.

The Grantley Arms

After an exciting day of family fun and making memories, head to the Grantley Arms for a well-earned meal in cosy surroundings. Choose from the à la carte menu with a great choice of starters, mains and desserts and tuck in.

There is a dedicated kid’s menu, too, so there is something for everyone. It’s the perfect way to end your day in the dales.
