Lahtle Wood Glamping

Lahtle Wood Glamping is an off-grid glamping site in East Heslerton, Malton. Take a step back and embrace the slower pace of living, light the wood burner to heat your water, enjoy campfires and soak in a wood fired hot tub. We’re dog friendly so you can bring you’re your furry friend along for the adventure too.

Each pod has their own Scrub shack bathroom with a shower, sink and flushing loo. You also have a private seating area, BBQ and alfresco kitchen, which comes with everything you need, a gas griddle, crockery, utensils, glasses, mugs, kitchen essentials, cool box, kindling and shower wood.

Family Pods  

We have two styles, the Pheasants and Peewits. The Pheasants are a 4-person pod with a double bed and two singles, and the Peewits are a 6-person pod with a double bed and two bunk beds, the top bunks are small singles, so we advise for small children only. Both pods all include the Scrub shack, alfresco kitchen, BBQ and private seating.

Couple pods  

Our couple pods all have wood fired hot tubs. We have two styles of pod, Owl and Woodpecker. Owl pods have a king size bed, indoor bench seating and the outdoor scrub shack and alfresco kitchen. Woodpeckers have a double bed, indoor seating and an indoor ensuite bathroom and an alfresco kitchen.

Lahtle Grub 

Lahtle Grub is our onsite takeaway pizza shack that opens on a Friday and Saturday night through the summer months. In 2026 we are looking at expanding to open on weekend mornings for coffee and crepes.

Play area 

We have a children’s play area with swings, wooden climber stack, monkey bars, sand pit and Wendy house. We also have a reading and games room with table football. The woodland is fully enclosed so offers a safe place to walk your dogs or for children to run free.
