About Woldies
Woldies is an award winning family-run attraction nestled in a beautiful 12 acre setting on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, near Malton.
Woldies blends extensive outdoor play areas and interactive nature trails with informal gardens and wildlife habitats making for an excellent for multi‑generational day out.
What You’ll Find at Woldies:
Outdoor Play – A miniature railway, sand & water play zones, timber trail, den-building area, a huge willow maze, giant garden games, football golf & football pool.
Nature Gardens & Trails – Woodland walk, Spring bulbs and daffodil walk (over 50,000!), tree trail, individual bee, butterfly and bird gardens, wildflower meadows, and lavender fields.
Interactive Learning – Seasonal trails during school holidays are a big hit with visitors. (Easter - Giant animal themed egg hunt, May Half Term - Queen Bee Quest, Summer Holidays - Wild Superhero mission)
Amenities – On-site café (the Teahive Takeaway) with indoor/outdoor seating, farm shop selling lavender products distilled in‑house, accessible toilets, baby‑changing, wheelchair‑friendly paths, free parking (including disabled spaces), and dog‑friendly policies.
Season & Practical Info:
Open weekends and school holidays from April to early September, with special seasonal trails spring through summer. Memberships are available.
Recommend allocating at least 3-4 hours (though visitors often stay all day).

A core focus for Woldies, hosting over 20,000 trees planted since 2001, sustainably sourced materials throughout, ground-source heat pumps, solar panels, and eco‑friendly packaging
