With our cycle hire fleet of over 50 bikes for riding off-road or on-road, we’ll have the perfect bike for you and the type of riding you’re looking to explore. We offer a range of top-quality bikes from Trek, Orange, Santa Cruz and Cervelo, all carefully serviced, in perfect working order and ready to go!

E-Mountain Bike Hardtail – Book our E-bikes that offer added assistance, powering you up every hill.  A mountain bike with front suspension, ideal for exploring country lanes, moorland tracks and the ‘Swale Trail’.

E-Mountain Bike Full Suspension – For that extra boost to power you up the steepest, roughest mountain bike trails, our full suspension bikes will take you down steep & rocky descents with confidence.
Road Bike – Super light, super responsive carbon road bikes for covering the miles and miles of quiet roads in stunning scenery.

Gravel Bike – Perfect bikes for exploring the road and non-technical off-road trails that are plentiful in Swaledale and the Yorkshire Dales. Think drop handlebars, wider tyres and a fast-riding position.

Mountain Bike – Premium hardtail mountain bikes with a size range to fit all the family.  The perfect bike for exploring the Swale Trail and moorland track under your own pedal power.

Junior Bike – Essentially, top quality mountain bikes sized for the younger members of the family.

Child Seats & Tag-a-Long – For the very youngest members of the family, child seats can be attached to our mountain bikes and e-mountain bike hardtails.  Tag-a-long bikes can be attached to hire bikes for those younger members of the family that can pedal but not quite on their own.

Cakery Cafe

Our Cakery Café is open every day and is famed for its cake, with over 25 different delights for you to sample. Choose from the quality cafe menu offering a range of food from a hearty English breakfast to a panini or homemade soup.

Coffee is another of our passions, locally roasted and bursting with flavour, crafted by our baristas all day every day. Take a pew inside the 70-seat cafe with a great view through the glass wall.

Soak up the sunshine outside in the courtyard or under the canopy on the lawn taking in the stunning Dales scenery. A refuel here is not to be missed.

From luxury glamping Pods to practical bunk rooms, we offer three accommodation choices at the Dales Bike Centre.  From lone explorers to groups of friends, couples to families with kids - we can take care of you. Our two barn-conversions offer practical bunk accommodation in either a self-contained apartment, or separate rooms that share a bathroom. Our four new Mega-Pods, two with wood-fired hot tubs, are a wonderful way to stay outdoors in luxury. More details on our website.
