About Afternoon Tea at Bolton Castle Tea Room
Home grown and home-made are key to Bolton Castle’s renowned Tea Room.
Served on a tiered plate, the tea includes a delightful selection of savoury and sweet treats, accompanied by a pot of tea for two or a glass of prosecco for special occasions.
The Tea Room is a cool respite on a hot day or a welcoming place to re-energise on a busy day, offering freshly made hot and cold dishes, with cakes made on site on the day.
The Tea Room also caters brilliantly for children, with a range of snacks and drinks, perfect for smaller visitors, and home-made delights such as chocolate brownies, flapjacks and the eternal favourite, Victoria Sponge cake.
The famous Cornish Pasties, made by Annie, are often available and have become a firm favourite for visitors.
Many of the ingredients are sourced from the Bolton Estate so their mantra ‘field to fork’ is a major element of why the Tea Room is so popular. Good coffee, delicious teas, juices and water, are always available and for that special treat, pre-book a special Afternoon Tea.
See the website for booking details and pricing. Gift vouchers for Afternoon Tea are also available, perfect for creating memories and adding to a wonderful day at Bolton Castle.
