About Twilight Lecture with Professor Jessica Meyer - Queen Mary's School

Join us for the launch of Twilight Talks, an inspiring new programme at Queen Marys School designed to connect our pupils with exceptional role models from a wide range of professions. Rooted in our See it to be it philosophy, Twilight Talks form part of our HER VOICE Leadership Programme, empowering girls to explore their ambitions and learn from those who have achieved excellence in their fields.

Our second guest speaker in the programme is Jessica Meyer, a Professor of British Social and Cultural History at the University of Leeds, who has areas of expertise including Gender history (masculinity), First World War, medical history, history of disability, cultural history of war, and popular culture.

Her enlightening talk will cover 'The Human Side of Conflict' and 'Careers in Research'. This promises to be an inspiring evening for pupils, parents, and friends of Queen Marys School.
