About Knaresborough Christmas Market Weekend - Market Place

Join us for a wonderful festive event in the picturesque North Yorkshire market town of Knaresborough, with quality stalls, independent shops, live musical entertainment, traditional town crier, free park and ride and a spectacular firework finale over the viaduct on the Sunday.

Explore the High Street and busy shopping areas surrounding the market – full of independent shops offering speciality items and a warm Yorkshire welcome.

Discover the delightful Castlegate area. Here you will find a wide range of independent shops and businesses and the wonderfully quirky Green Dragon Yard.

Witness the famous viaduct river view from the historic castle ruins, or simply enjoy a stroll along Waterside.

Experience the stunning Christmas Tree Festival, with over 70 beautifully decorated trees.

The Christmas Market weekend is organised by Knaresborough Rotary, Knaresborough & District Chamber and Knaresborough Lions.
