About Stillingfleet Lodge - National Garden Scheme Open Garden - Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens
The National Garden Scheme is a registered charity which opens gardens of quality, character and interest to the public. Since 1927 they have raised funds to support nursing and caring charities, and over £25 million in the last 10 years.
Where does the money go? All entry fees and 10% of plant sales will be donated to the NGS. All money taken from refreshments on these days will be donated to St Helen’s Church, Stillingfleet.
What will you see? Beautiful seasonal plants, including flowers, foliage, shrubs, trees, wildflower meadow, wildlife pond and a formal rill garden - all managed to support wildlife. Many of the plants you will see are available to buy in our plant nursery and we can help you choose the right plant for your garden.
The tea room will be open for drinks and cake. There will also be an art exhibition in the tea room and small locally sourced, ethical gifts for sale.
