What we're known for

The Easby-Loop Café is a riverside café just outside Richmond, perfectly placed along the popular Easby Loop walk. We’re known for great food, friendly service and one of North Yorkshire’s most beautiful café settings, with outdoor seating overlooking the River Swale.

Our menu is all about proper, freshly prepared food. We’re particularly known for our smash burgers, loaded fries, breakfast baps, sandwiches, homemade cakes and indulgent sweet treats, alongside great coffee and refreshing drinks. Whether you’re stopping for a coffee and cake date, settling down for lunch, takeaway, or on a day out with the family at the Easby Abbey (about a minute walk) there’s something for everyone.

We’re proud to be a welcoming, relaxed stop for walkers, cyclists, families, dog walkers and visitors exploring the area. Our aim is simple: serve delicious food, make everyone feel welcome and give you a great place to enjoy the view, of course we are dog friendly, so don’t forget to ask for a doggy ice cream!

Where you can find us

You’ll find us at The Old Stables, Easby, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 7EU, right beside the Easby Loop and close to the historic Easby Abbey. (Just down the dirt track to the right, about a minute walk) We’re an ideal stop while exploring the River Swale, Easby Abbey and the surrounding countryside.

Look out for The Easby-Loop Café along the riverside route and come and enjoy what we think is the best view in town!

Opening hours

Winter: 9am - 4pm

Summer: 9am - 6pm

Our opening hours are seasonal, although, we are open every day apart from Christmas Day, no matter the weather, but please check our Facebook page for the latest opening times and any changes.
