A ramble for users of mobility scooters that overlooks Fylingdales and Blakey Topping.
Start from the Saltergate layby on the A619 opposite the Hole of Horcum. Take care for the few metres along the roadside then turn onto the track., and beware if using smaller scooters as there are a few big potholes.
Parking: Please see North Yorks Moors National Park website for up to date details of charges and payment methods. The turning point is at the picnic area and car park. Access by car is possible to this point but you will need to pay to enter Dalby Forest. There are good views to the north across Saltergate Moor.
