The station itself offers a nostalgic experience, complete with a 1920s-style Tea Room housed in a former goods shed and a charming shop for souvenirs. From here, you can embark on the scenic Rail Trail - a well-marked 3.5-mile walk along a disused railway line to Grosmont, with the option to return on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
