About Blands Cliff Murals

The Blands Cliff Murals in Scarborough began as a regeneration project in 2001 when 23 local professional artists painted the top wall. This was then followed by two smaller groups of 4 artists who completed the two lower larger walls in 2002, 2003 and 2004.The tiles featured on the Blands Cliff walls were decorated by children aged 4 to 7 at Scarborough’s Friarage after school club. The work on the Blands Cliff Murals is ongoing.
