Situated on the cliffs overlooking the picturesque North Bay, the Alexandra Community Sports & Leisure Centre offers superb facilities for the serious bowler, as well as fun for ALL the family with full access for disabled people to all facilities.
About Alexandra Community Sports & Leisure Centre
We have a range of activities including: Dance and Exercise classes Arts & Crafts and Handicraft groups Photography Classes Kids music, dance and craft classes And more to be added soon! The Centre boasts eight indoor bowls rinks of world-class standard, after a major refurbishment in 2003 which included the installation of a laser-levelled green as well as glare-free lighting. The Centre is unique in also offering two outdoor crown greens in the adjacent Alexandra Gardens, where the annual Gambart Baines Challenge Trophy is held.
