Weeton Show
About Weeton Show
Weeton Show is a local, traditional Agricultural and Horticultural Show on the edge of Harrogate. Known locally as ‘The Greatest Little Show in Yorkshire’, we can offer a fun day out for all the family.
This event is a typical village show with classes in horticulture and produce; as well as the horse, sheep and dog classes. So, whether you want to admire the horse competitions or see the best sticks of rhubarb, there is plenty to do.
Feeling energetic? You can enter our four-and-a-half-mile run, the Rougemont Chase, through the beautiful Wharfedale countryside around the show field or bring your bicycle and enter the Grass Track racing.
In the main ring, you can watch terrier racing, the Kirkbourne spaniels, falconry, fly-fishing demonstrations, classic cars and tractors. Enjoy a brass band and taste a pint of our famous Weeton Wiggle. There will be countryside craft demonstrations, Punch and Judy, circus skills and lots of food and craft stalls. Finally, at the end of the day, make sure you stay for the hilarious and famous Weeton Show dog race!
