About Touch Grass - Stephen Joseph Theatre
Steen has switched off his phone, put it in a shoebox and buried it in his mum’s back garden.
A whole month since BB last logged on, Steen fears the worst. With no phone and only £7.20 in his young savers account, Steen embarks on a coast-to-coast search for the girl he’s only known as an online avatar.
Shaped by conversations with young people across the UK through our Future Makers process, Touch Grass is the trip of a lifetime, travelling through friendship, the online forces that shape young men, and the clash between the virtual world of gaming and real life.
