About Atlantic Voyagers - Ripon Cathedral

An exhilarating programme with one of Britains most celebrated pianists, Martin Roscoe, showcasing the music of three great composers separated by the Atlantic Ocean: Gershwin, Rachmaninov and Bernstein.

Martin Roscoe, always a popular soloist with St Cecilia Orchestra, returns to Ripon Cathedral to perform Gershwins lively and rhythmic piano concerto. Rachmaninovs perfectly proportioned, ingeniously constructed and melodically exultant second symphony (one of his best-loved and most enduring works) and Bernsteins sparkling Candide overture complete the programme.

We welcome everyone to our concerts. If you have any accessibility requirements please get in touch and we will ensure you are accommodated.
