About R.e.m. By Stipe - Glusburn Community and Arts Centre

Stipe are recognised as the definitive tribute to R.E.M., the band from Athens, Georgia who are widely credited as pioneers of alternative rock, influencing countless bands who would follow, including Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Radiohead.

Stipe are a professional six-piece, who, as huge fans of the band, take the music (if not themselves) seriously. Iconic songs such as Losing My Religion and Everybody Hurts are recreated note-for-note, while Richard Southerns studied vocal pays homage to Michael Stipes unique voice and enigmatic performance style. A constantly varying setlist means this is a show for those who were there at the beginning and those for whom this is just beginning.

Whether youre a long-time or more casual fan, or just someone who loves great music, Stipe are a must-see tribute band who capture the essence of R.E.M., one of the defining bands of our times.

This is a predominantly standing gig. Whilst some seats will be available, they are not guaranteed.
