About Scarborough 400 Heritage Walk with John Lambe - Scarborough Railway Station

A 1.5 mile walk led by John Lambe to celebrate 400 years of Scarborough becoming Spa Town, after Thomasin Farrer discovering the Waters in 1626.

The walk starts at The Station and finishes at The Spa, taking in key points and buildings of Scarborough along the way, such as, The Station, Old Parcels Office, The Crescent, Grand Hotel, Central Tramway and Spa Bridge, which help to illustrate the growth and history of the Town and its popularity to this day. Note: the route is not fully accessible, dogs allowed on a short lead and accompanied children welcome.
