About Heritage Open Days - Ampleforth Abbey

Explore the extraordinary craftsmanship and architectural legacy of Ampleforth Abbey and Ampleforth College this Heritage Open Day.

Discover the work of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson and the architectural vision of Giles Gilbert Scott across Ampleforth Abbey and Ampleforth College. Together they house probably the largest known collection of Mouseman furniture, while the Grade I listed Abbey Church stands as one of Scott’s major works.
