About Heritage Open Days - Ampleforth Abbey
Discover the work of Robert ‘Mouseman’ Thompson and the architectural vision of Giles Gilbert Scott across Ampleforth Abbey and Ampleforth College. Together they house probably the largest known collection of Mouseman furniture, while the Grade I listed Abbey Church stands as one of Scott’s major works.
Tours are free and can be booked on the day, with spaces allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
A rare opportunity to delve deeper into the heritage of this remarkable place.
