Dark Skies Tetrapak Workshop with Hester Cox - Dales Countryside Museum

In this morning workshop, for adults, printmaker Hester Cox will demonstrate to make unique and exciting printed images using recycled materials. Taking the night sky and the nocturnal creatures of the dales for inspiration, she will teach participants simple drypoint skills that can be used on recycled juice and milk cartons to create detailed and professional original prints. This is a direct and quick method enabling participants to explore ideas and develop their skills throughout the afternoon building on what they learn with each print. This method can be done at home using simply adapted pasta makers and die-cut machines avoiding the expense of a professional printing press.
