About Baroque & Beyond March Merrymaking - St Andrew's Church
Experts from Baroque In The North will introduce each piece and you will have the chance to hear 18th century harpsichord, baroque violin, baroque cello, recorder and French bagpipes. The programme includes works by well-known composers as well as a few surprises.
With something for all, the event is suitable for all ages and there will be space for children to draw or dance as the mood takes them. The venue is fully accessible and there is a car park across the road.
We are hugely grateful to Victoria Wood Foundation for enabling this event.
Baroque & Beyond is a project initiative of Baroque In The North, a Manchester-based, performing arts charity specialising in music from 16th-18th centuries, played on period instruments.
