Visitors to the North York Moors can explore more of the landscape with ease by hiring all‑terrain mobility scooters, known as Trampers, available at several key sites across the National Park. These robust vehicles are built to handle rough ground, gradients and unsurfaced trails, giving people with limited mobility the freedom to enjoy the area’s iconic scenery safely and comfortably.

First‑time users complete a short training session, and hire is free for members of the Outdoor Mobility scheme, which provides access to Trampers at locations across England.
