The Pheasant Hotel & Restaurant

The Pheasant has arguably one of the most beautiful Country Hotel settings in North Yorkshire overlooking the duckpond in the picturesque village of Harome. Originally converted from what had been a blacksmith’s shop, village shop and barns, the Pheasant offers one single and eleven double rooms, in addition to two family rooms and now The Pheasant Suite and Plum Cottage bringing the total to 16 rooms, all set around a courtyard of fruit trees. The Pheasant has its own indoor heated swimming pool and Wifi is available.

The Hotel is home to Chef/Director Peter Neville’s award-winning restaurant, winner of the Welcome to Yorkshire’s White Rose Awards “Best Restaurant 2017”. Peter has a growing reputation for offering the best in local, seasonal dishes with ‘a wonderful lightness of touch, fantastic taste and flavour combinations’. All in all The Pheasant is a great base from which to absorb the North Yorkshire Moors countryside, from the castles to the coast, moorland and market towns – or simply soak in the restful and rural surroundings of Harome.
