About The Green Dragon at Hardraw
With its stone floors and real fires the historic Green Dragon at Hardraw epitomises a traditional North Country inn. The pub, part of which is 13th century, is at the heart of the Dales farming community of Hardraw, near Hawes, and is frequented by locals and visitors who are drawn to its old-world charm.
The area is popular with walkers, and The Green Dragon Inn lies on the Pennine Way with England's highest single-drop waterfall, Hardraw Force, close behind.
It is a popular choice for food and offers a well-stocked bar, including its own branded ale. It also offers twenty-one rooms, from singles to self-catering suites, with most of them being dog-friendly.
The public rooms regularly host live acoustic music on Wednesdays while Hardraw Hall, the inn’s large reception and entertainment space to the rear, is ideal for wedding celebrations, conferences and live music.
