The Dovecote Barns

The Dovecote Barns is a national and regional award winning business situated in the quaint village of Kelfield, North Yorkshire.

It offers guests peace and quiet in the countryside to enjoy their five-star surroundings, walks from the door, sustainable transport to Selby or York by bus, or to cycle one of the many flat cycle routes in the area.

Snuggle in front of the log stoves or shoot a game of pool in the games room. The barns are rated five-star Gold Award by Visit England demonstrating the owners commitment to excellent standards of customer service as well as facilities.

In addition, it is accredited with Green Tourism Gold status, acknowledging its commitment to sustainability and carbon saving. The barns offer 4 separate barn conversions sleeping 2, 4, 6 and 8 with an additional bolt on bedroom which can increase occupancy by 2 to any of the larger barns. Uniquely, it also offers an additional space for group get togethers and group dining in the Long Hall which has toilets and a fully licensed bar which can be rented.

A private chef can be optionally hired to cook for larger groups. This also makes it an ideal venue for multi-generational family get togethers, wedding parties and corporate away breaks who wish to make use of the group facilities on offer.

The Irishman's Cottage is mobility rated M3A (Mobility Assisted) and there is an accessible toilet in the Long Hall also. Every bedroom is en-suite, and 6 of the 11 bedrooms can be split into twin rooms.
