About Scalby Close Park

Scalby Close Park is a long‑established, family‑run adult‑only touring park offering a calm, coastal escape just minutes from Scarborough. Now proudly part of Culligan Parks, the site continues to deliver the same personal welcome and high standards guests have enjoyed for decades.

Set within mature, landscaped grounds, the park features spacious individual pitches complete with waste and water connections. Guests have access to a heated toilet and shower block, accessible facilities, and a fully equipped laundry room — everything needed for a comfortable, unhurried stay. Dogs are welcome too, with scenic walks and coastline views right on the doorstep.

Perfectly located between Scarborough’s attractions and the dramatic beauty of the North York Moors, Scalby Close Park is an ideal base for exploring the region. Popular days out include Rievaulx, Whitby and Byland Abbeys; Scarborough, Helmsley and Pickering Castles; Castle Howard; Sledmere and Burton Agnes; Flamingo Land; and Eden Camp.
