About National Trust Long Dales Route
This challenging route for fit riders showcases Yorkshire’s stunning scenery. Starting at Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal World Heritage Site, the route passes Masham, famous for its breweries, and heads to Wensleydale. It climbs Bishopdale (featured in the 2014 Tour de France) and enters Upper Wharfedale. After a tough climb from Arncliffe, it descends to Malham. The route continues via the Yorkshire Dales Cycle Way, through Greenhow and Pateley Bridge, before returning via Brimham Rocks for a well-earned treat.
