A quiet family-run eco-conscious campsite in the Yorkshire Dales village of Ravenstonedale with spacious open pitches, 360 views and excellent, modern facilities. 
Wake up in nature, explore the beauty of the surrounding area (without the overcrowding of The Lake District), witness lingering sunsets over campfire chats before some epic star gazing under a designated Dark Sky Reserve. What we offer – Tents, glamping and motorhomes

Campers are able to ‘camp as you like’ with plenty of space between pitches and no hidden charges for extras such as gazebos and dogs. You’ll be comfortable with our highly-praised private and spacious hot showers at no extra cost, immaculate individual toilets rooms and access to fridge/freezer, free charging lockers and plentiful washing up facilities (as well as a kettle and hair drying sockets). All pitches come with a free fire pit and great value sustainably sourced British firewood can be purchased on site.

Our glamping options both come with their own private gardens, toilets and kitchens. 
The Yurt can sleep up to 5 and has a wood-burning stove. The Bell Tent sleeps 2 in a comfortable double bed. Both come with all bedding provided and their own fire pits, chairs, hammocks and picnic benches. Please Note, dogs are not permitted in the glamping options.

We have 2 hard standing pitches for motorhomes with EHU available at one of them. Firepits are available and awnings can be utilised. We don’t have an elson point.  EV charging is available.

The local area

The village of Ravenstonedale is a 10 minute walk away with 2 excellent pubs, a golf course (we have clubs available for hire), kids play area, tennis court as well as river walks and historical ruins to explore. Set at the foot of The Howgills, there are plentiful walks possible direct from the campsite or access to popular Lake District destinations are just a short drive away. The market town of Kirkby Stephen is 5 miles away with plenty of shops, cafes and services.

We pride ourselves on being a quiet campsite and quiet hours operate from 10.30pm until 8.30am. We’re committed to providing you with the space, peaceful atmosphere and comfort you need to have a fully relaxing and enjoyable stay.
