Knaresborough Pool

Knaresborough Pool, located on the southeast side of the town at the top of High Street, is a well-equipped and accessible facility for the public. Just a 5-minute walk from the town centre, it offers various payment options, including pay-as-you-go sessions and membership packages starting from £14 for a 7-day membership.

The pool consists of a four-lane swimming pool and an attached leisure pool that is shallow throughout, making it ideal for young swimmers and beginners. For more experienced swimmers, there are plenty of opportunities to swim laps, while the leisure pool features a flume, bubble pool, and water sprayer, available upon request.

The pool hosts a variety of sessions, from early morning swims to fun sessions and adults-only times. During fun sessions, a large Aqua Run inflatable is placed in the main pool for children, along with floating mats in the leisure pool (a minimum swimming ability of 25m is required for users of the inflatable).

Knaresborough Pool also offers a comprehensive swimming lesson program for all levels, from beginners to national competition level.
