The Knaresborough Heritage Centre offers locals and visitors an interesting and informative opportunity to experience the history, archaeology, and culture of this vibrant tourist destination. The community-run Heritage Centre also runs weekly guided history walks, monthly talks, and a rolling programme of innovative exhibitions showcasing Knaresborough's rich heritage. The Heritage Centre consists of a newly refurbished museum gallery, visitor information desk and small heritage shop.
