About King Charles III England Coast Path - North Yorkshire Coast section

National trail 'King Charles III England Coast Path' celebrating the coronation of our King and connecting the coastal landscapes around England. Once all sections of the paths are complete, the full trail will follow all the way around England's coastline and be around 2,700 miles long - the longest managed coastal path in the world!

The 'North East and East Coast' section of the trail takes in North Yorkshire's coastline and we pick up the trail in Staithes onto the Cleveland way - an already established national trail. This section of the trail adopts the Cleveland Way route so you'll find it is waymarked as both the Cleveland Way and King Charles III England Coast Path. It passes along the rugged coastline through our beautiful towns and villages that line the coast, right the way down through Whitby, Scarborough and Filey before ending the Cleveland way path and diverting off at the southern end of Primrose Valley Holiday park.  This is signed with permissive path waymarks guiding you on to Bridlington.
