About Keldy Cabins - Forest Holidays
A Forest Holiday is a one-of-a-kind holiday in nature, with fresh air, freedom, and unmissable forest views. Unwind, reconnect and escape the everyday, surrounded by the forest. Keldy is a peaceful location, deep in a wooded valley, with 59 cabins. Do as much or as little as you’d like to. Completely unwind in your very own hot tub surrounded by nature. Find adventure on the trails as you walk or cycle through idyllic woodland and sunlit glades. With extras and experiences to add to your stay, it’s an escape to nature that you can make all yours.
Choose a cabin that’s just right for you. Find a base for adventures in a Silver Birch. Throw open the bi-fold doors of a White Willow Premium and let nature in. Enjoy a couples’ retreat in a Golden Oak Hideaway, or a group getaway in a Golden Oak Treehouse. Looking for something extra-special? Only at Keldy, you can stay in the Golden Oak Keldy Cottage, just for two, which includes a hot tub and sauna.
The Forest Retreat is the heart of Keldy, the hub of activity where you’ll find a delightful snack and coffee bar, laundry room and a well-stocked shop – plus a children’s play area to keep little ones busy. With experiences that will bring you closer to nature, activities include bicycle hire, archery and one-of-a-kind experiences with Forest Rangers. Close to Keldy, you can fly through the trees at Go Ape Tree Top Adventure in Dalby Forest.
Beyond the forest, there are so many local attractions, you really are spoilt for choice. There’s the lovely market town of Pickering nearby, or travel by steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to the seaside town of Whitby.
It’s not just the fresh, forest air or one-of-a-kind experiences that make Forest Holidays so unique. As a Certified B Corp, they’re recognised as being good for people and the planet. Their holidays help to support the management of the forest and ensure it’s preserved for future generations. So you can breathe easy in more ways than one, knowing you’ve made a sustainable choice that’s good for you, and nature too.
