About Just the Ticket art installation
Just The Ticket is a permanent wall-mounted artwork by Electric Angel Design. Made up of vibrant, colourful tram tickets, each one telling a unique story connected to Scarborough’s South Cliff Gardens. Blending historical moments with personal memories shared by local residents, the piece invites visitors to explore the area's rich past through a mosaic of voices and experiences.
You’ll find the installation by heading up the steps beside the Spa Cliff Lift. Continue until you reach the pedestrian tunnel beneath the tracks. There, you’ll be welcomed by this striking collection of story-filled tramway tickets. Alternatively, take one of the winding paths through the Gardens behind The Spa building and beach huts to discover it.
