Harrogate Brewing Co. at Royal Parade

Harrogate Brewing Co. Royal Parade is an independent, family run pub serving award-winning Yorkshire ales. Located in the centre of Harrogate on the historic Royal Parade, the pub itself is an important part of the town’s heritage, with records of serving ‘a stock of the best wines and other liquors’ as far back as the 17th century. The pub was newly opened under Harrogate Brewing Co. in April 2025, from a passion to promote independent, locally brewed beer within the area.

Harrogate Brewing Co. - our Story

Owners Julie and Joe have operated microbrewery Harrogate Brewing Co. since 2020, expanding the business to include an onsite brewery Taproom and developing a range of national award-winning cask and keg beers. They work alongside their daughter, son and incredible team to bring quality local beer from themselves and other breweries to the community of Harrogate. Many of their beers are named after important members of their family, including the popular Iris Neipa, named after their first granddaughter.

Pub Classics at Harrogate Brewing Co

Harrogate Brewing Co. Royal Parade hosts weekly live music from local musicians along with a monthly ‘Proper Pub Quiz’. Open everyday of the week, the venue champions locally sourced suppliers such as Sykes House Farm to offer a selection of bar snacks, pub classics and Sunday lunches.

The interior combines British pub heritage with contemporary comfort, featuring rich wood panelling, curated décor, and cosy lighting. An ideal setting for relaxed drinks with friends or casual dining. The aptly named ‘Farrah’ room, hosts another important part of the town’s Heritage, showcasing what was once the iconic Farrah’s of Harrogate original toffee shop.

Most recently, the previously unused area above the pub has been converted into Royal Six Apartments - three self-contained, modern holiday rentals with their own private entrance.

Whether stopping by for a perfectly poured pint, a Sunday lunch or an evening with friends, Harrogate Brewing Co. Royal Parade offers a welcoming taste of Yorkshire hospitality.
