About Grouse Hill Caravan and Camping Park

With its AA 4 Pennant Rating, Grouse Hill Camping, Glamping and Caravan Park is set in a stunning location in the North York Moors National Park.

Whitby and Scarborough are within easy reach of this peaceful site which includes Wigwam® Cabins, touring pitches, camping pitches, a superb holiday home and self-catering rural hideaway cottage.

Established in 1978, Grouse Hill is a family-run concern and includes excellent toilet and shower facilities, an onsite shop, information points, an  fabulous outdoor children’s play area, sports field,  woodland walks and a freshwater lake. The site overlooks incredible vistas of the local moors (clad in purple heather at certain times of year) and you can bring your dog, too.

Nearby attractions include Scarborough Open Air Theatre, the Alpamare Water Park, Whitby Abbey, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Dalby Forest and Go Ape!, Flamingo Land and lots of other exciting venues. We are open March to October each year, with season pitches for tourers available throughout the year. Access to our site is from the main A171 Whitby to Scarborough road and we have a pub just a few minutes walk from the site.
