Our holiday cottages near Malton in North Yorkshire sleep 2 – 12. The Granary sleeps 8 (max 7 Adults)  and The Mistal sleeps 4. They are just on the edge of the quiet rural village of Burythorpe, and a 30 minute drive to the beautiful city of York. Both cottages are well equipped and comfortable. Local attractions include Castle Howard, York Maize Maze, National Railway Museum, The National Centre of Birds of Prey at Duncombe park near Helmsley, Woldies, Eden Camp, and Flamingoland. The Bay Horse Ale House in Burythorpe is open Tuesday - Wednesday from 4pm and Thursday - Sunday from 12 noon.  A very welcoming rustic, charming, cosy pub with open fires is a 10 minute walk or two minute drive from our holiday cottages. In the fields around the accommodation, you will hear skylarks sing, and see buzzards soar. Deer are frequently sighted. This is a truly unspoiled corner.  It is no surprise that many of our visitors return year after year to escape and unwind in our comfortable holiday cottages. We look forward to welcoming you to our holiday cottages, near Malton, The Granary and The Mistal soon!
