East Cliff Cottages
Situated on a cobbled street beneath the East Cliff, St Mary’s Church and Whitby Abbey, the cottages have fabulous uninterrupted sea views, balconies and gardens with private access to the beach.
About East Cliff Cottages
East Cliff Cottages have some of the best views to be found in Whitby, with uninterrupted panoramic views of the harbour, piers and sea, there is always something interesting to watch. The cottages are situated on a cobbled street with no through traffic, and vehicle access is restricted to residents. They share a private car park which is very rare in Old Whitby. It is only a short walk to Church Street and local shops and amenities. The old fishermen’s houses have been carefully modernised to form three ground floor apartments with two storey cottages above. Each cottage has its own unique character and is completely self-contained. However, as they are next to each other they are ideal for family groups to holiday together. The balconies and terraces have garden furniture. Steps wind down through the gardens, to a private gate which gives access to a sandy beach. All cottages are fully equipped, they all have smart TVs and Free Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.
