Cliff House Holiday Cottages

We’re a small, family-run collection of five self-catering cottages with an indoor heated pool, games room and two acres of gardens and woodland in the village of Ebberston.

You’ll find space to slow down—feed the chickens, wander Wishing Well Wood, or sit by the pond—then head out to the Moors or the coast with Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering and Malton all close by. We’re dog-friendly, have EV chargers and fast Starlink Wi-Fi, and we champion local makers, nature-friendly gardening and low-miles days out. A straightforward base for families, couples and groups who want time together—and plenty to do within a short drive.

Whether that is a day out on the North York Moors Steam Railway, exploring local formal gardens or castles and stately homes.  For the more adventurous there is mountain biking in Dalby Forest and nearby Sutton Bank, as well as water based activities at the nearby Yorkshire Water Park.  We always try and use local produce (when we aren’t making our own), promote local business, attractions and artists and be as environmentally friendly as we can.
