Get onto a real working farm with a loved one! At Farm Adventure you will get stuck in to all the goings on, from lambing, to weaning lots of gorgeous calves, to mucking out the pigs and more
About This Experience
We really let you come onto the farm and get stuck in!
Arrive with us on the farm and check into your gorgeous cottage, with wood burning stove and hot tub with stunning views! Relax on your first night, enjoying a home-reared hamper and possibly a glass of something to really help you forget the stress of home!
Day 1 - Arrive & settle in!
Arrive at Hill Top Farm and let the stress of city life melt away. After making yourself at home in our gorgeous cottage, a fully equipped self-catering home, you’re free to soak in your own private hot tub; cosy up beside the wood-burning stove; or go out and explore our local area… (we’re happy to provide a list of things to do around here if you don’t know where to start).
Day 2 - Out on the farm with our farmer!
Depending on the time of year, you’ll get stuck into whatever’s happening right then! It could be lambing! It could be taking on 150 new Aberdeen Angus calves to train them on how to drink formula milk from a trough (they may be small, but they’re strong!)! It may be mucking out the pigs (oh we don’t hold back on letting you do the mucky jobs!)! It may be rounding up the sheep to turn them over and check some feet for any problems. We are a working farm and you can be involved in any of it! Oh, and you’ll get to drive our John Deere tractors!
You’ll enjoy your hot tub even more on the second night!
Day 3 - Time to say good bye
The time has come to head back home, but you’ll have many memories, have learned a whole lot about farming, and most likely have a big smile on your face and new skills to boot!
