Leyburn Tour of Britain Celebrations

On Saturday 5 September Leyburn hosts the finish line to the most challenging stage of the 2026 Tour of Britain.  Riders will tackle over 165km (102 miles) including 2,699m of climbing, all in a desperate effort to be the first to get to Leyburn and cross the line

So head to Leyburn and watch all the action unfold on the big screen and enjoy the atmosphere as the race makes its way from Helmsley.   The stage will feature live music through the afternoon with acts including the Leyburn Band and the Dales Community Pop Choir.

Leyburn is a cosy dales town and the limited town centre parking will be used for the event and team vehicles, but there are special parking arrangements for fans coming to see the race, with car parks on each of the roads coming into town.  Each car park is a short 15min walk from the town centre
Please do not pass these car parks and attempt to park in town.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to collision damage the bridge between Leyburn and Middleham is closed this weekend, the nearest alternative river crossing is near East Witton.
