About Big Ideas by the Sea
Returning in May 2027, Big Ideas by the Sea brings concerts, exhibitions, workshops, walks and, of course, the Scarborough Big Dig - our innovative community archaeology project in Paradise and beyond. There will be several other Scarborough 400 themed events during the festival: the premiere of a song and performance piece about Scarborough people and places; a talk in and about the Grand Hotel with tours of the hotel; a community archaeology symposium; a talk and exhibition about the theatre in the round in Scarborough Library; a photographic exhibition about the Marvels; and much much more.
