Set against the stunning backdrop of Scarborough’s South Bay, this year’s Armed Forces Day promises a thrilling line-up of air displays, ceremonial drills, live music, and family-friendly entertainment.

Air Displays:

• RAF Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 Air Display – Experience the raw power and agility of one of the world’s most advanced fighter jets.

• Battle of Britain Memorial Flight – A moving tribute featuring the iconic Spitfire, Hurricane, and Dakota aircraft.

• Tiger Moth Air Display – Step back in time with this elegant display from a classic biplane of the 1930s.

• The Starlings Aerobatic Team – Precision flying and synchronised stunts from this dynamic civilian display team.

• Richard Goodwin – Jet-Powered Pitts Special – A high-octane performance combining classic aerobatics with jet propulsion for an unforgettable spectacle.

On-Ground Displays & Ceremonial Performances:

• Royal Air Force Cadets – Banner Drill Display – A disciplined and dignified ceremonial drill by the RAF Air Cadets.

• Scarborough Sea Cadet Continuity Drill Display Team – Watch the Sea Cadets demonstrate their exceptional teamwork and precision.

• Yorkshire Volunteers Band – Enjoy stirring military music from this renowned band, adding a ceremonial soundtrack to the day.

• Military Parade – A proud and formal procession featuring serving personnel, veterans, and cadet forces marching through Scarborough in honour of the Armed Forces.
