About Architects of Air's Luminarium
Step inside Luminarium, a spectacular walk-through installation filled with light, colour, and calm, as The Stray transforms into a magical world of sensory bliss.
Created by the world-renowned Architects of Air and designed by Artistic Director Alan Parkinson, this monumental inflatable structure invites visitors to slow down and explore at their own pace. Inside, winding pathways and soaring domes glow with radiant colour as light filters through the translucent fabric, creating an ever-changing, immersive experience.
Luminarium is designed to be gentle, inclusive, and open to everyone. There’s no right route and no rush — just space to wander, look, and enjoy the atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or taking a quiet moment for yourself, Luminarium offers a rare chance to experience art from the inside out.

Book your visit in advance
Book for a half hour time slot on Thursday 11 June, Friday 12 June, Saturday 13 June and Sunday 14 June, including time slots for children and families with SEND on Thursday and Saturday, and adults only time slot on Friday).
Please note: there are two quieter periods available on Thursday 11 June & Saturday 13 June between 2-2.30pm, held specifically for children and families with SEND.
